Jasprit Bumrah Has Comeback Stronger After Injury Says Tim Southee
Addressing Jasprit Bumrah’s injury, Tim Southee expressed his admiration for him. The New Zealand cricketer talked about Jasprit Bumrah’s comeback after his injury and how he is better than before. Tim Southee also said that participating across all three formats of cricket can be challenging. Tim Southee was quoted by PTI saying,
“To be able to firstly bounce back from the major injury and come back, he’s even better than what he was beforehand. Throw in on top of that, having to juggle multiple formats, can be difficult at times as well,”
Furthermore, Tim Southee said that Jasprit Bumrah handles participating in all three formats effortlessly. He most likely has more experience and a somewhat better understanding of his game, added New Zealand’s right arm medium fast out-swing bowler. Tim Southee also said that Bumrah most likely took a break during his injury in order to bounce back stronger and feel rejuvenated. Tim Southee added,
“He seems to have been able to do that with ease as well. He’s probably more experienced and understands his game a bit more. He probably had that time where he was injured to come back and be recharged, refreshed,”
Lastly, Tim Southee declared Jasprit Bumrah as the best bowler. Jasprit Bumrah is delivering his greatest version across all three formats, added the New Zealand bowler. He said,
“We are just seeing a great version (of Bumrah) across all three formats. He’s brilliant across all three at the moment. I don’t think there’s anyone that he’s better in (better than him), he is tremendous across all three (formats),”
Jasprit Bumrah’s last appearance was in the T20 World Cup 2024 finale. Since the winning of the T20 World Cup against South Africa in July, Jasprit Bumrah has been on an extensive break.
