The Hundred, Southern Brave won the match single-handedly over Welsh Fire by 42 runs, heroic innings by James Vince made it possible to win the match.
James Vince stood for Southern Brave
Southern Brave came to bat first and batted like a camaraderie, openers held the game from the start however Alex Davies lost the support of James Vince but it didn’t impact James Vince. Further batters came and played some cameo innings and went to the pavilion but James Vince stood there. However, Kieron Pollard also played an impactful innings of 17 runs but couldn’t play till the end but James Vince scored an unbeaten 73 runs and took the team to 139 but lost 5 wickets.

Decent bowling performance by Welsh Fire
Welsh Fire wasn’t that good as they couldn’t hold their nerves perfectly every bowler was bowling wrong lengths so they kept on conceding runs which affected their bowling. Still, they were able to scalp wickets, Haris Rauf picked 2 wickets while Matt Henry, David Payne, and Luke Wells picked 1 wicket each.

Welsh Fire dismantled in front of Southern Brave
After a decent bowling performance, Welsh Fire needed to climb Everest like target and they failed in the start itself, openers couldn’t score big as Jonny Bairstow was able to score just 16 runs while Luke Wells only 8, later middle order too failed and so they kept losing wickets which resulted in a huge loss for the team by 42 runs and were able to score just 97 and got all-out.

Tymal Mills’ four-fer made Southern Brave win
Southern Brave batted well now it was time to roll some arms with the ball and the bowlers adhered to their words, Tymal Mills picked 4 wickets while Danny Briggs picked 3 wickets and Chris Jordan picked 2 wickets, a team performance witnessed by the audience at Cardiff. James Vince was adjourned as Man Of the Match.
