Wayne Madsen stabilized the game for Manchester Originals
Manchester Originals came to bat but, faced trouble in the start both openers lost there wickets and lost the control it felt but Wayne Madsen stood till the end and scored 43 runs, finishing touches by Jamie Overton played an impressive knock of 25 runs which took the total to 116 but Manchester Originals lost 6 wickets. If Wayne Madsen would also lost his wicket then this total was impossible to acheive.

Decent Performance by Southern Brave bowlers
Southern Brave opted to bowl first but they aren’t happy with the performance which they were expecting still every bowler bowled efficiently well and picked wickets. Craig Overton, Tymal Mills and Chris Jordan picked 2 wickets. The rhythm and temperament was not that good but still they weren’t out of track.

Southern Brave batters easily chased the target
Target was like a challenge for Southern Brave but batters played like a team and top order made the chase quite easy and so the target seemed like small. Alex Davies, James Vince and Leus du Plooy played an impressive knock but lost their wicket in the end Laurie Evans also made 25 runs which took Southern Brave to the winning mark. Craig Overton was adjourned as Man Of the Match.

Target was quite able to defend but bowlers weren’t bowling as per line and lengths. Every bowler went on conceding runs no one was continued one after the other so the plans failed. Tom Hartley, Usama Mir and Scott Currie picked 1 wicket each rest no other bowlers was able to pick wicket.
