Major Cricket League (MLC) Los Angeles Knight Riders grabbed 2 crucial points and made themselves even more strong for playoffs. Seattle Orcas are also on the verge of elimination and if they lose the next match then they will get knocked out of the tournament.
Ryan Rickelton- A lone warrior
Seattle Orcas had won the toss and opted to bat first and felt like the decision failed and stuck in the middle. Ryan Rickelton and Shehan Jayasuriya opened the innings but somehow the downfall started from the beginning itself later it kept continuing and it was difficult to control but Ryan Rickelton stood tall and played an outstanding innings which made Seattle Orcas in the game but couldn’t register big score onboard, despite Ryan’s great innings Seattle Orcas made 142 runs and from that Ryan Rickelton scored 89 runs unfortunately he missed his well deserved century.

Economical performance by Los Angeles Knight Riders
Los Angeles Knight Riders had a brilliant day with the ball and every bowler contributed well, Andre Russell conceded just 15 runs in his whole spell and picked 1 wicket even Sunil Narine also gave 21 runs and scalped 1 wicket. Los Angeles Knight Riders kept bowling very tight and didn’t give too much of a chance to score runs still Ryan Rickelton was an exceptional case because he was the only one who scored runs and was able to reach that score.

Equally contributed by Los Angeles batters
Target was pretty easy to chase so the start from Los Angeles Knight Riders was the same which expected they gave a steady start and didn’t want to push the innings too aggressively as the target was quite small, Jason Roy made 27 in 23 balls but Unmukt Chand made the day as he smashed 62 runs and made possible that runs should come in good flow but later he also lost his wicket, in the end, small innings contributed well enough to reach the total and the won match sparing 5 balls. Unmukt Chand made the innings quite faster or else Seattle Orcas would take the game by picking wickets.

Ups and Downs for Seattle Orcas
As batting didn’t go as expected even bowling also couldn’t help to defend the target as bowlers had a rollercoaster ride but in the end, they failed and lost the match. Cameron Gannon and Harmeet Singh picked 2 wickets while Lungi Ngidi and Keemo Paul picked 1 wicket each, but Seattle Orcas gave their best and tried to keep the bowling tight enough but couldn’t taste the success. Despite losing the match Ryan Rickelton was declared as Man Of the Match for his outstanding innings of 89 runs which made Seattle Orcas reach that particular score.
