Former cricket of Pakistan Basit Ali has a warning for the Bangladesh side for the upcoming Test series against Pakistan at home. Pakistan is all set to host a two-match Test series at home starting August 21. The first Test match will be from August 21-25, whereas the second will begin from August 30-September 3rd.

Pakistan and Bangladesh have faced each other in Test matches on 13 occasions. Out of 13 matches, Pakistan has dominated the contest, winning 12 games, while one out of 13 matches ended in a draw. Therefore, Pakistan has a great record against the Tigers. Most probably, the series between the nations could end in a one-sided affair, as mentioned by Basit Ali.

“Only rain can save Bangladesh, otherwise, there is no comparison” : Basit Ali on Upcoming Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh

Pakistan’s former cricketer Basit Ali is confident of Pakistan whitewashing Bangladesh in the upcoming Test series hosted at home. Basit Ali also further mentioned the record of Pakistan dominating over Bangladesh in Bangladesh. In his YouTube video, Basit Ali said that,

“Only rain can save Bangladesh, otherwise, there is no comparison. Pakistan will have a big advantage in the home conditions. Pakistan have also beaten Bangladesh in Tests in Bangladesh.”

Furthermore, Basit Ali was keen to mention about appointment of a new head coach for Pakistan. Jason Gillespie’s first assignment as the head coach of Pakistan will be the Test series against Bangladesh at home.
