Right-arm pacer Kagiso Rabada spoke out against Australian players, sending a message to sledge him in the upcoming World Test Championship Final at Lord’s. After a failed drug test and leaving the Indian Premier League, Kagiso Rabada‘s bold comment against the Aussies has fired in the Test series.
Kagiso Rabada’s Vigorous Remarks on Aussie Players
Kagiso Rabada has erupted towards the Australian cricketer. In a recent interview with SABC Report, he said, “They [Australian players] come at you, and that gets the best out of me.” He also added, “They have been notorious for that over the years, right? So yeah, let’s see.
“I think we deserve to be there, and I’m excited to see what Australia can bring to us.”
This is not the first time that Rabada has stirred vigorous remarks towards Pat Commins’ boys or indulged in dispute moments before. Rabada’s hostile relationship with Australian players began seven years ago when he was alleged to have hit a mid-pitch shoulder stomp to Australian batter Steve Smith during the 2018 ‘sandpapergate’ test series.
“Look, this is not an ideal situation,” Rabada informed. “I don’t need too many pats on the back here. I’m going to be joining them [teammates] again. I’ve already spoken to them, and I guess we can do so in more detail when we get together for an extended amount of time.”

After returning from two match suspension, he has made himself more prepared against Australia. Once again, cricket fans will be able to see him playing in his old form but with a new mindset and a new version, focusing on the series only. He also said, “It led me to a bit of introspection about myself, and I took some time away from the game. I think the biggest thing I took away from it is having gratitude for playing the game that we love. I’m just glad to be playing again… the process was handled well.”
While recovering from past abeyance, along with being aware of people’s various judgments towards him, he quoted, “I think, as a player, and a man, people will have their different opinions. I can live with that.”
“I feel good, I’m ready,” Rabada told SABC Sport. I’m not focused on the result, just focused on playing. My body feels good, my mind feels good, and I’m ready to play.
Regarding London’s well-known stadium, Lord’s, on the other hand, he said, “Lord’s is a special ground and I’m glad to be on the honours board there, and to be there along with some great company.” He also said, “Hopefully I can get on it again … but if I don’t get on it and we win, I’d rather take that.”
Kagiso Rabada has always been an indignant pacer on Australian cricketers. In his test career graph, he nearly took 49 wickets against Australia at an average of 23.08. Whether South Africa defeats Australia or not. The Test match against Australia vs South Africa is going to be worth watching on 11 June at Lord’s, London, definitely.
