Chopra compares this duo’s performance with Phil Salt’s achievements in the IPL.

In one of his recent videos on his YouTube channel, he analysed the whole performance of the Punjab Kings along with the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2025. He quoted,
“Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya, these two kids are also praiseworthy. Prabhsimran Singh was scoring fifties after fifties at one point. I think he scored four consecutive fifties, the most by an uncapped Indian for the Punjab Kings. He was outstanding. He is scoring runs consistently while playing high-risk cricket. He is like Phil Salt, but does not have that much experience,”
He feels Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya are more praiseworthy than Salt and Kohli during their Indian Premier League 2025.
The Indian commentator shared his vision towards Prabhsimran Singh for his productive performance during this IPL match 2025. Punjab Kings’ player has scored enough in this IPL. He scored 523 runs at just strike rate of 163.43 in 16 innings across all matches. Although in the RCB squad, Iyer has scored 603 runs all over this match.
“He hits big shots while jumping down the wicket. He was batting well in the last match, but then got out after playing a wrong shot, but he keeps going. He has scored more than 500 runs – wow. It seemed at the start that he was throwing away his wicket, but he has played lengthy knocks after that,” he added.

The former cricketer, on the other hand, applauded PBKS’ well-played member Arya for his remarkable goal throughout this game. He explained Arya’s batting capability is extraordinary, including praising Arya’s hitting style. He quoted, “Look at Priyansh Arya. He is a gold-dust kid. His batting has been incredible. The mentality he has, he plays the ball, not the bowler. Whoever the bowler might be, it doesn’t make a difference to him. If the ball is on his body, whether it’s Pat Cummins or any other bowler, he will be hit for a six.”
“He does not flinch. I love that attitude. He has been top-notch. Could be one of the most explosive, eye-catching, exciting young talents of this IPL. He is that good. This kid’s technical foundation looks excellent. That’s what makes him special, and that’s why he is consistent,” Chopra said in his YouTube video.
Chopra concluded in his video that the left-handed opening batter, aka right-arm off-break bowler Priyansh Arya, can go far if he maintains his pacing style and ethics.
The PBKS vs RCB is going to beat each other in their IPL Finale 2025 at Narendra Stadium in Ahmedabad on 3rd June, 7.30 pm. The finale will be worth watching as both the team captains’ target is to win the match at any cost on the battlefield.
