KL Rahul has been phenomenal when it comes to white ball format he explodes while batting and his numbers are prolific. However past 2 years he has been sacked from the team though he was part of 2023 World Cup squad but couldn’t make his place later on. In T20 Format he is a beast and in IPL we have witnessed his knocks.

KL Rahul earlier was the vice captain of T20I side during T20 WC 2022 but all of a sudden the then chief selector Chetan Sharma and his panel appointed Hardik Pandya the T20I skipper who had quite a bit success. KL Rahul hasn’t been given a long rope post T20 WC 2022 debacle and with Suryakumar Yadav being named T20I skipper and Yashasvi & Shubman amassing runs, it looks unlikely that we will see KL Rahul in the shortest format unless he scores around 600 runs with magnificent knocks in IPL 2025 edition to make a case for himself
