With JJ Smit closing it out, he’s the type of X-factor that never makes this batting order have a bad day, even if the top starts slow, with his 1,307 runs in this position.

Zimbabwe have a pretty loaded number of bowlers, even without Richard Ngarava, as they continue to be the heart and soul of this side’s success. Blessing Muzarabani has that star factor in him, which has helped him use height and great bounce to pick up wickets at every moment. Someone who’s gotten 115 wickets in this format and is always relied upon to bowl out his overs will continue being a key force, alongside another rising righty in Brad Evans. Seeing that Evans has also just crossed 50 wickets, this is something to keep an eye out for because he rarely ends up going for huge economies, while also managing a strong workload.
From the left-end, Newman Nyamhuri is going to continue making himself into a better bowler in this shorter format, as the young piece has just played a handful of matches so far.
