MI vs RCB: RCB’s Thrilling Win Breaks A Lot Of Records

RCB beat MI at Wankhede in a thrilling encounter yesterday. MI were in the chase till the last over, but RCB clinched the victory in the end. There was also a sweet battle between two brothers Hardik & Krunal Pandya. The elder one had the last laugh at the end of the match and RCB won the match by 12 runs

RCB is breaching every fortress in 2025

RCB acquired a strong team in this year’s auction, and it seemed like the most balanced squad they have ever had. it is reflected in their performance in the first 4 matches. They had the most challenging schedule, facing the giants KKR, CSK, and MI at their home in their first four matches.

But they surprised everyone by breaching the opponent’s fortress one by one. They not only beat them at their home but also did it convincingly. Only MI’s match was a close encounter. They beat CSK at Chepauk after 17 years and have now beaten MI at Wankhede after 10 years. Hope this new era of RCB brings them the glory.

Virat Kohli crossed 13k runs in T20s

Virat Kohli scored 67 runs off 42 balls in this match against MI yesterday and completed 13000 runs in T20 cricket. He is the first Indian player to achieve this feat, and overall the 5th player in the world to do so. He achieved this feat in 386 innings, which is the second fastest after Chris Gayle, who achievedit  in 381 innings.

Captain Rajat Patidar

Rajat Patidar smashed 64 runs off just 32 balls against MI and won the Man of the Match award for his batting display. this is his second Man of the Match of this season. He also won the M.O.M award against CSK at Chepauk.

Now, Patidar owns a unique record of being the only IPL Captain to win the Man of the Match award in both Chepauk and Wankhede.

Boom Boom Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah played his first match in this season and we could directly see his impact in the team. MI conceded 221 runs in 20 overs in which Bumrah gave just 29 runs in his 4 overs. RCB scored 70 runs in the last 5 overs in which Bumrah bowled 2 overs and conceded just 14 runs. 6 runs in the 18th over and 8 runs in the last over which includes a sixer from Jitesh Sharma.

If not for him RCB would have scored 240 or 250 yesterday. none of the other MI bowlers were able to stop the RCB batters.
