England will kickstart their summer season with some Caribbean touch as West Indies tours to England for test series. England will try to bounce back in this series since they are standing at bottom of the table and want to win the matches and increase points in the table.

Tim Paine slams Ben Stokes

England will have Caribbean challenge which will start from 10 July. Veteran pacer James Anderson will play his last test match at Lords after spanning of more than 20 years. It will be an emotional moment for every England cricketer that a veteran like him will not be a part from then. As soon as the squad was announced former Aussie skipper Tim Paine blames Ben Stokes for selecting very poor team as they don’t have much experienced players and many of the players are under 30 so it would be a problematic situation for English team to cop-up with Men in Maroon. England had started their bazball pattern in tests which is to play an aggressive cricket and brought some change in test cricket, however they failed in India as their bazball pattern didn’t work and lost the series by 4-1. Still they have sticked to their plans and won’t change as of now. Tim Paine said:

“Oh, mate, I don’t know, I think it was taken slightly out of context because he was talking in a changing room and it was a bigger speech, so I will say that. However, it’s just this continued belief that they’re completely changing the game and they’re doing this amazing stuff and everyone’s going to remember it … they’re not.”

“You’re coming dead last in the World Test Championship. You’re not going to be a team that everyone remembers watching and you’re not doing anything outrageously good that we haven’t seen before. You’re an average cricket team. (Actually) you’re at the moment, a below-average cricket team and I think they need to get their head around that a little bit,” he added.

As of now England is ranking bottom of the table but they need to win matches and series to cop-up with top teams like India and Australia, their pattern should be modified or else should change their plans then only they will be back on track.
