St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots’ bowling proved to be very poor; the shining light was Anrich Nortje who took two wickets in 4 overs for 37 runs. The rest of the bowlers failed to rein in the Kings’ batting line up and Dominic Drakes went for 77 runs off the 4 allotted overs without a scalp to his name. That was quite not the case with the Saint Lucia Kings bowlers held the Patriots to a total of 201 for 3. In the final over David Wiese was able to complete 2/3 and economical bowling was done by Alzarri Joseph, McKenny Clarke and Khari Campbell. The Kings registered a much-deserved victory specifically because of their clinical approach towards batting and their disciplined approach towards bowling; they will definitely carry this form forward in their subsequent matches.
