Heading into this weekend’s action, another one of cricketing coach Steve Katwaroo‘s players showed up in a big way and has given the USA circuit hope for the future. With his name being Aryan Bhamkar, his name was already quite big prior to this knock, since he was playing in the U-11 junior pathway games. Hoping to make it to the under-19 circut in the next half-decade, he is one of the key reasons why Falcons Jr. have remained atop the table and continue their unbeaten run going. At just 11 years old, this kid has tons of potential to become like his hero, Sachin Tendulkar, and has showcased the ability to play shots very similar to his.
As he is another Steve Katwaroo-developed product, Aryan Bhamkar has already been instilled with the importance of being a pro’s pro and understanding that pressure should not always get the best of him. Similar to names like the current USA star Jessy Singh and former U-19 batsman Prannav Chettipalayam, it looks like another powerful strikers with great patience is expected to come out of the Falcons camp under the same coach’s name.
Seeing that Steve has already been able to master Kriti Dayulu and Aditi Chaudasama’s stance for this generation of batters, the same thing is being shown with Aryan Bhamkar, while the young batsmen is also playing in a style that goes beyond these times.
The First Century Of Many In Aryan’s Young Career
With Aryan Bhamkar having knocked in a century in just his 5th match ever in this U-11 American Pathway Program, it has already been a great start for him, with scouts looking out after he delivered a game-defining innings. Scoring 111 runs in just 87 deliveries at the opening position, he was able to help his side, called the FJSC Titans, reach 246 runs in just 25 overs, with them losing only three wickets.
Seeing that they were going at almost 10 an over in more than 20 overs, Aryan Bhamkar helped them do something unprecedented for this age group and built an amazing partnership with Avyukt Konduru, who is another product that Steve Katwaroo has been able to transform into a rising star.

Knowing Avyukt Konduru had scored 61 of 64 balls, he was playing at a more slower pace, so Aryan Bhamkar could continue developing his strike rate of over 125. As many people this age just care about going big for sixes and trying to always get strike, these two proved something different, and it showed that their coaching was more about disciplined training than anything else.
Although Konduru did go under a 100 strike rate, he was still able to lift up his teammate, who was celebrating one of the most historic moments in New Jersey cricket history. Going back to Aryan, his score proved that he had the patience to stand in there and play nearly a 100 balls, while also not letting up his wickets super easily.
What Is To Come For A Promising Star That Has Ways To Go?
Now that he has already made his name known across the state of New Jersey and among the selectors for higher levels of cricket, it is going to be really interesting to see what great performances he can put together down the line. With the season for U-11 just having started and this being some of his first real experience ever, the more he develops will lead him into being an even advanced player.
Seeing that people usually struggle during their couple matches and end up losing confidence, this is someone who looks very mentally strong and should put together consistent knocks. It is great to see him pan out like this, and with more bowling time involved in his game, his coach, Steve, could do a wonderful job of turning him into an all-rounder.
