In a recent interview with the news agency IANS, Yograj said that only MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh are the greatest match finishers in Indian cricket history. According to him, Iyer is responsible for Punjab Kings’ loss. After being disqualified from the field in the IPL final, scoring 1 run, He quoted,
“There is only one criminal from yesterday’s match. That is Shreyas Iyer, Punjab’s captain. Someone asked him, whenever he has played, Punjab has won. There is no one behind him to play. No one is bigger than the game. India has had only two great finishers. MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh. 92% is their winning rate. Yuvraj has a 98% winning rate. Yuvraj has won 72 games single-handedly. This is called a player,”
