T Dilip Expresses Fondness For Rohit Sharma’s Conduct

T Dilip praised Rohit Sharma’s conduct both on and off the field. The fielding coach didn’t address his exceptional batting, as everyone is aware of it. Instead, T Dilip said that Rohit Sharma is one of the finest individuals he has come across in his life. T Dilip was also with the Deccan Chargers in the Ipl, where he got along with Rohit Sharma. In addition, Rohit Sharma and him has been beside each other for three years since he joined as the fielding coach in 2021. Speaking to Raw Talks with VK podcast on YouTube, he said,

“I don’t have to talk about his batting because everyone knows he’s one of the best pullers of the ball. All that is there, but the angle that I’ve seen through my work… When I was with the Deccan Chargers, I was able to see Rohit Sharma from a distance. In the last three years, whatever time I’ve spent with him, there are very few good human beings like him that I’ve seen in life,”

Furthermore, T Dilip stated that Rohit Sharma talks with everyone on the team and has a solid relationship with each one of them. He further said that Rohit Sharma comes across as a humorous being, which is visible when he is on the ground. T Dilip pointed out the Washington Sundar moment that happened recently in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, where the bowler had missed the run-up twice. Skipper Rohit Sharma’s reaction to the moment appeared as funny to the audience. He said,

“Another thing is the relationship he has with every member of the team. The relation, the bond he’s built by talking to each one,”  he added,

“He is actually a very funny person, a happy-going person on the field. You also must have seen, in the match the other day, when Washington skipped twice, the running… So he tries to create a very nice environment on the ground as a leader.

Lastly, T Dilip stated that he has a knack for creating amusing moments, but beyond that, his exceptional leadership skills speak. In addition, he said that with World Cup trophies and IPL trophies to his name, it’s undeniable that he is truly one of the best. He said,

“There are funny incidents around that but he’s a great human being and there’s no need to talk about how good his leadership is… There’s the World Cup and the IPL trophies before that. He’s one of the best,”
