The Clash between the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in Dharmshala delivered another entertaining IPL thriller, but the biggest highlight of the match was the brilliant innings played by Tilak Varma. MI needed a strong start while chasing 201, and Ryan Rickelton provided exactly that. The left-hander attacked the Punjab bowlers during the power play and smashed 48 runs from just 23 balls. His aggressive batting ensured Mumbai stayed ahead of the required run rate in the early overs.
However, PBKS slowly pulled the game back after taking a few important wickets. Rohit Sharma struggled to increase the scoring rate and was dismissed after scoring 25 off 26 balls. With the pressure building and the asking rate increasing, the Mumbai Indians needed someone to control the innings calmly.

Tilak Varma walked in during a crucial phase of the match and immediately looked confident at the crease.
