It was important for them to win at Dharamshala as they have 2 more games at this venue (*DC on 11th May & MI on 11th May), which are very crucial for their qualification.

First time since 2014, PBKS have gained 15 points in a season. They have been the most under-performing franchises with only 2 playoff appearances ( 2008 and 2014 ) in 17 seasons. But this year, with the inclusion of Ricky Ponting and Shreyas Iyer, Punjab looks like a different side. They are providing a complete team performance.
