Pakistan played like amateurs in a first test match, after a good start Pakistan suddenly declared the innings which cost them in the second innings. Skipper Shan Masood expressed his views about the pitch says, the pitch didn’t played as per expectations.
In the first innings, Mohammed Rizwan and Saud Shakeel helped Pakistan to stabilize the game but the declaration was a debatable question. Can Pakistan end the series on a draw or Bangladesh will clinch the trophy for their side?
Ahmed Shehzad slams Shan Masood
Skipper Shan Masood was seen in anger after his dismissal in the first innings he took DRS but didn’t go to their side so after his dismissal he was quite angry, despite the he couldn’t do much with the bat, both innings he went down below 10 which is a sign of concern whether Shan Masood will bring new plans or stick to the old plans. Former Pakistan player Ahmed Shehzad slams Shan Masood for his childish behavior, Ahmed Shehzad said:
“You cannot show dissent in this manner. You are still doing the same things. Whenever you get out, you come back and say that you were not out. Are you playing gully cricket? You have been doing this since U19. You are infamous for not accepting that you are out. What should we do then? Only bowled should be considered for you?”
“Your own performance is nothing. Who is going to listen to you? When I saw your stats, you just have three half-centuries since 2020, and you are the captain of the Pakistan team. All of you guys have fooled the Pakistani public. You are just taking your turns. Please show some maturity, you are no longer the Shan Masood from U19 or U16.”
Second test will be starting from August 30, Pakistan need to groove up from the loss which they suffered in first test, some plan of action need to be executed or else you won’t be able to win the matches.
