Los Angeles Knight Riders stuck in the middle
Los Angeles Knight Riders was invited to bat first and they had a flying start with Jason Roy’s fiery 27 runs but he got trapped into the net of Rashid Khan. Then the ignition of wickets started and the batters of Los Angeles Knight Riders couldn’t hold their nerves and kept losing wickets, single-digit scores hanged them in the middle of the match, and couldn’t help to make a comeback, but the man with the golden arm Andre Russell smashed some brilliant shots and kept some hopes alive in the match but it was Kieron Pollard who came to bowl last over and on the very first ball he dismissed Andre Russell and it was the last wicket of Los Angeles Knight Riders and the final total was 130, Los Angles Knight Riders were hanging in between the result as it’s very tough for them to defend such a low total.

So it was a do-or-die for MI New York too and so the bowlers rose to the occasion they picked quite early wickets and later wickets came in a good way at regular intervals, and so they planned well to bowl tight which helped them in the end. Trent Boult and Noshthush Kenjige picked 2 wickets Rashid Khan picked 3 wickets and importantly Kieron Pollard cleared Andre Russell which was the most important wicket and the match slighted towards MI New York.
MI New York batters sealed themselves for playoffs
It’s now all to the batters and have a task of 131 which will make them through to the playoffs. As the target was set but the task was to complete it in 18 overs and they accepted the challenge, the openers took a flying start Dewald Brevis had a blast with his fiery knock of 27 runs later Nicholas Pooran stabled the innings as the game was slowed down in between but he makes the full use of the situation and made 35 runs and his partner skipper Kieron Pollard powerhouse of boundaries he took his bat and smashed to and fro in the end and made 33 runs within 12 balls. Heartbreak for Los Angeles Knight Riders
Batters were helpless as they couldn’t make use of the situation but even bowlers couldn’t make the day happier so they got a heartbreak in the end. Still, they were able to get wickets Sunil Narine picked 2 wickets and Spencer Johnson, Corne Dry, Andre Russell, and Ali Khan picked 1 wicket each, an emotional heartbreak remained in the end but they had played outstanding throughout the tournament.
