Avishka Fernando’s Masterclass
The Kings’ batting was indeed looking strong and glamorous as they had players with popular names in the Sri Lankan cricket team such as Avishka Fernando and Charith Asalanka. And indeed they did not let me down as Fernando good as he was played a brilliant 59 in 48 balls. His innings were a lesson in batting, and he unleashed some beautiful shots to complete his fifty.

Chasing of the marvels was decided by the young and talented players including Alex Hales. Again he played some aggressive shots to take his individual score to fifty and the stand between him and his captain, Niroshan Dickwella was ample to script the Marvels triumph. Hales innings was mature maybe because of the techniques he had learnt as a coming batsman and is for sure a future prospect.
