He said that detractors should only judge him after observing him bat during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. Sarfaraz Khan, rewarded for his outstanding domestic cricket performances, made an outstanding Test debut for India earlier this year.

Following the series opener in Perth on November 22, day-night format second Test will be played at Adelaide Oval under lights from December 6–10. The third Test, which takes place in Brisbane from December 14–18, will subsequently be the focus of fans’ attention.
Taking place at Melbourne’s famous Melbourne Cricket Ground from December 26 to 30, the series will culminate with the customary Boxing Day Test.

From January 3 to 7, the Sydney Cricket Ground will host the fifth and final Test, which promises to be an entertaining conclusion to a highly anticipated series. Sarfaraz Khan vies for a middle-order spot in Australia’s five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024–25. He might be vying for a spot alongside Dhruv Jurel and KL Rahul.

Give Sarfaraz Khan A Chance To Bat In Australia- Sourav Ganguly

According to several cricket analysts, the Mumbai hitter lacks the skills to endure Australian conditions. Ganguly questioned the reasoning behind the finding in an interview with Revsportz, saying:

“You have to give him a chance to know. How can you say anything without giving him an opportunity? Let him fail first. He has scored tons of runs in domestic cricket and has earned his spot in the team. No one has given it to him. So don’t write him off before you have given him a chance. Once you do so, then you will be in a position to judge.

“I am very clear – you must give him an opportunity to know how good or bad he is. Without doing so, don’t pass judgment on him,” the 52-yearold went on to add.
