Mohammad Nawaz struck a major blow as he removed the form batter Bas de Leede who was looking good and dominated the middle phase of the game. Netherlands were 50/2 in 6 overs and were well-placed out in the middle. But they lost Colin Ackermann to Abrar Ahmed when the score was 65 in 8 overs. Then Scott Edwards join Bas in the middle as they looked to navigate the Dutch in the middle overs.

Bas de Leede and Scott Edwards consolidated for a while and played the next few overs really well as Pakistan were left a little scratching for answers one has to say that. The 100 came up for the Dutch and both the batters had gotten themselves in. Pakistan were in search of a breakthrough and then Nawaz had to stand up for Pakistan.

Netherlands crossed the 100-run mark in 12.1 overs and then Bas de Leede hit a boundary off Nawaz to take the score to 105. But the left-arm spinner hit back by getting rid of Bas de Leede for a good looking 30 off 25 balls with 4 fours to his name. And he did so in fine fashion.

Babar Azam got to his right and took the catch easily in the end around his chest as the Dutch lost their 4th wicket for 105 in the 13th over. Zach Lion-Cachet came out to bat next.

Scott Edwards showed his class after that alongside the new batter as the Netherlands went to a solid looking 123/4 in 15 overs.
