Umran Malik is tipped to break the fastest bowling record of the lethal speedster Shoaib Akhtar who was a nightmare for the batters across all the formats of the game.
Umran Malik speaks about his availability for the Duleep Trophy
Umran Malik has improved his versatility in domestic cricket and even in IPL past 2 years, he has worked on his pace and run-up. Earlier he used to concede runs just because he used to bowl because he had space but now he has improved and practiced a lot, Umran Malik is ready to feature in the Duleep Trophy. Umran Malik said:
“I am feeling better and now I am fully focused on the preparation of the Duleep trophy at NCA. I hope I will be doing good in this season for my team.”
“These days I’m bowling a lot with the new ball because I believe swing can make a huge difference at my pace. I want to learn a few things, especially how to formulate a plan and execute it. If you have that, then you will be better prepared to handle the challenges,” Umran said.
Umran Malik also got a chance to play for India but past 1.5 years he has been sidelined he may come back soon as he was struggling with injuries and he wants time to improve his bowling.
