Powerplay Punch: Early trouble for Pakistan

Pakistan’s innings never found rhythm; Bangladesh’s bowlers came with an intent of attacking stumps and using suitable variations in pace. Taskin Ahmed was the wrecker in chief who took 3 wickets for 22 runs in his 3.3 overs. Along with Taskin, Mustafizur Rahman had incredible bowling figures of 2 wickets for 6 runs in 4 overs. The surface in  Dhaka offered some grip, and the Bangladeshi blowers exploited it beautifully.

Middle Overs Squeeze

Once the early wickets fell, Bangladesh’s spinners and medium pacers tightened the screws . Every run became hard earned as dot balls mounted and run rate stagnated.

Faheem Ashraf, Abrar Ahmed &  Abbas Afridi failed to accelerate under pressure . Boundaries were rare and singles were hard to  come by . The bowling was not just economical, it was strategic . Blower after maintained discipline , targeting the stumps , keeping the field tight and letting scoreboard pressure do the rest.

Tactical brilliance

Captain Litton Das led with calmness and clarity. His field placements were spot on, aggressive when needed and conservative when the situation demanded. Rotating bowlers intelligently and not allowing Pakistan to settle, the captain ensured every over contributed to Pakistan’s downfall.

The collective blowing effort was a testament to teamwork over individual brilliance. There were no magic balls or freak deliveries  just well throughout plans, consistency, and patience shown in execution. Bangladesh bundled out Pakistan for 109 runs in 19.3 overs as the visitors’ batting unit never took off and played according to te circumstances.
