DC vs GT : Records Galore After GT Beat DC Comprehensively

GT sealed their playoff spot in style by beating DC by 10 wickets in a record run chase. Their openers are still doing the job for them, and their consistency this season is unreal. With their third playoff appearance in their fourth season, GT is rising as a new IPL giant.

DC gave GT the target of 200, and they chased it with one over to spare without losing a wicket. This is the first time a team has chased a 200-plus target without losing a wicket in the IPL.

Two Double hundreds

Gill and Sudarshan made a partnership of 205 runs yesterday. This is the second time that this pair has posted a 200-run partnership in the IPL. They became only the second pair after Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers to do this.

Shubman Gill joins the 5000 club

Shubman Gill crossed 5000 runs in T20 cricket, he became the second fastest Indian after KL Rahul to achieve this feat. Overall, he is the 6th fastest to cross 5000 runs.
