ICC T20 World Cup 2024: “I Had Take In A Heartbeat”- Graeme Swann, Ready To Accept Coaching Role For Indian Cricket Team

There are rumors circulating as to who would be the next head coach of the Indian team. With regard to that a former England International player revealed his desire to be the next head coach of the Indian team if the opportunity is given to him by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Some names have popped up regarding the position of the head coach of the Indian Squad. They are Gautam Gambhir, Stephen Fleming, and Mahela Jayawardene.

The former England off-spinner Graeme Swann, who was at the Delhi event, mentioned that he would take up the offer of head coach of India without giving any second thoughts if the BCCI offered him that role.

“If India asked me to become their coach, I’d do it in a heartbeat! I love this place,” Swann mentioned on Sports Tak.

Graeme Swann’s endorsement of Andy Flower carries weight, especially given Flower’s success both as a coach and a player.
