LSG vs CSK: Dian Forrester Signed As Replacement Of Jamie Overton

Chennai Super Kings has suffered from yet another injury concern in the final phase of the IPL. England all-rounder Jamie Overton has returned to the UK due to a right thigh injury and will not take further part in the IPL. Jamie Overton was the main player for CSK not only because of his sheer ability to offer both with bat and ball, but also due to the vast experience he had. In 10 games, he picked up 14 wickets at an average of 17.78 and scored 136 runs.

Jamie Overton’s role was as important as anyone else’s, and he also bagged Man of the Match for his outstanding performance against Lucknow, where he picked 3 wickets and, more importantly, played a big part in the yellow army’s success. Chennai’s chances of qualifying are grim yet, they have done pretty well to climb to 5th spot given the injury concerns.
