Mark Boucher provides update on Suryakumar Yadav

IPL 2024: “Mumbai Indians (MI) Are Definitely Missing Suryakumar Yadav”- Sunil Gavaskar Makes A Huge Statement On The Dashing Batter’s Absence

Mumbai Indians’ (MI) are languishing at the bottom of the points table as they have lost all of their 3 matches. The side is badly missing the services of Suryakumar Yadav who is yet to get clearance from NCA. Suryakumar Yadav is someone who can change the course of the match very quickly with his funky shots and he knows how to counter attack as he is an integral part of MI.

MI suffered a staggering defeat against Rajasthan Royals (RR) as they managed to score only 125 runs for the loss of 9 wickets and in response, RR chased down the target with more than 4 overs left in the match. It won’t be wrong to say that there are some serious internal issues in MI’s camp as there was hardly any intent and character shown by the batters.

MI will have to pull their socks up as a couple of more back to back defeats won’t keep them in good stead. MI’s next challenge is against Delhi Capitals (DC) on 7th April at Mumbai which promises to be a nail bitter as DC under the leadership of Rishabh Pant have rediscovered their mojo and are looking a team to beat in the competition; the way they thrashed CSK was quite deadly and dangerous

Sunil Gavaskar stated that Suryakumar Yadav can make a difference and termed him as a game changer and said that the side badly needs him quickly.

“Mumbai Indians are definitely missing Suryakumar Yadav. Suryakumar bats at No.3, and he can counterattack so well, but he is not available at the moment. MI will be hoping and praying that he is available very quickly because he can make a difference. He is a game-changer,”
