Pakistan had a tragic World Cup they failed in every department and so they knocked out of the tournament. Skipper Babar Azam was not in form nor any other player showed his class, overall they failed as a team. They ended their campaign on a good note by winning two games. Many players are now playing league cricket and will be joining the team on August for test series against Bangladesh.
Gary Kirsten is disappointed with Pakistan team
Before World Cup to commence Gary Kirsten was appointed as Head Coach they appoint him just because he is world cup winning coach not but he also brings great amount of experience which he has, but somehow Pakistan couldn’t adapt those experiences but there were many issues which split the team into two parts and they didn’t cop-up as a team. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also said that this team needs a major surgery and even need to shape as well. But things past many days are not going well with them, many trolls and criticism are faced by them even Gary Kirsten had tweeted once that they don’t have any co-ordination and no team spirit this shows even Gary Kristen is fed up and raised his opinion regarding team.
In 2025 Champions Trophy will be held by Pakistan and many things are going to and fro. Mohsin Naqvi had a chat with the committee and asked about the team’s culture and other things. Gary Kirsten submitted a report regarding the issues of discipline, fitness levels, etc. Pakistan don’t have any protocals or any professional routine that they follow, before World Cup they had a milatary training and they were trolled for that this shows they are least bothered about ICC World Cup. Mohsin Naqvi will take into consideration all of this even there were other talks too like whether Babar Azam will stay as captain or will be sacked.
Mohsin Naqvi said :

“I’m only speaking to those former cricketers who are interested in cricket”.”
