First series win for Bangladesh
Bangladesh and Pakistan have played in four T20I series so far. This is the first time Bangladesh has emerged as the victorious side. Before this, they had won a one-off T20I match against them in 2015.
Recently, in May 2025, Bangladesh traveled to Pakistan and was whitewashed in a three-match T20I series. Bangladesh now has the opportunity to give it back to them by defeating them in the third T20I, which is scheduled to take place in Dhaka on 24 July.
