Healy, the current captain of the Australian women’s cricket team, is married to Starc. Midway through the competition, she joined the KKR camp. Australian cricket player Alyssa Jean Healy was born on March 24, 1990, and she currently serves as captain of the women’s national squad.
She also captains the UP Warriorz in the Women’s Premier League in India, plays cricket for New South Wales in the domestic league, and plays for the Sydney Sixers in the WBBL. In February of 2010 she made her debut internationally.
Venkatesh Iyer On Favourite Australian
Speaking after the title win, Venkatesh Iyer made the comment which had Starc laughing and he pretended to walk off. The KKR batter would say that Healy had to leave before the final and had sent her best wishes to the side before the match on Sunday.
“Alyssa is my most favourite Australian right now and not Mitch Starc. He is No.2,”
“It’s good to have your family around on such a big occasion. Unfortunately, Alyssa had to leave. We spoke with her before the game and she sent across her wishes,” said Venkatesh Iyer.
Starc remarked that having the families there was fantastic and that, in the end, their support was what made the event successful.
“We have got the families out here. The extended staff and rest had messages of support before we left the hotel. We had a lot of them around for the tournament. All of this is because of their support,” said Starc.
Mitchell Starc’s Sudden Change Of Form
Starc has previously stated that when Healy accompanied him to India for the competition, his IPL 2024 changed.
“Everything’s been better since Alyssa has turned up,” Starc told Star Sports.
Starc gained momentum towards the conclusion of the season after having a poor start. He won Player of the Match in both the Qualifier 1 and the Final versus SRH. Starc, who was the most expensive player in the history of the auctions, ended up taking 17 wickets in his IPL comeback season.
