People praise him when he does well, but on social media, some people can be unkind when things don’t go as expected. In a recent match against South Africa, KL Rahul showcased his talent by scoring an impressive 101 runs in 137 balls, especially when his team needed it the most. Instead of arguing with those who make negative comments, KL Rahul prefers to let his cricket bat demonstrate his skills.

Even though people have different opinions about him, KL Rahul stays focused on his game. His recent outstanding performance of 101 runs in 137 balls against South Africa in Centurion highlighted his determination. Instead of responding to those who say unkind things, Rahul chooses to prove himself with his cricket skills, sticking to his approach of letting his bat speak for him on the field.

KL Rahul explains how social media trolling affects players

On December 27, after the end of play on Day 2 of the first test between India and South Africa, KL Rahul was asked by the media whether he ever felt like calling out trolls on social media. he was quite honest to speak. He responded by saying:

“What will I achieve [by] doing that? Logon ko jo bolna hoga bolenge [People will say what they want to]. If you are a public performer, performance is your only yardstick to stay away from criticism.”

Rahul further added:

“One who is hailing me today was abusing me some months back. Anyone who says he isn’t affected by comments on social media is lying. But the more you stay away, the better it is for your mindset.”
