IRE vs PAK: Pakistan Level The T20I Series & Register A Dominating Performance Against Ireland

Pakistan leveled the series against Ireland and comfortably won the match by 7 wickets. Pakistan chased the target easily and is back in form. The Men in Green made a statement that they are not done yet in the shortest format. Mohammad Rizwan & Fakhar Zaman silenced all the critics by playing a barnstorming knocks for Pakistan.

Ireland was stabilized by Lorcan Tucker and Harry Tector

The toss was delayed due to rain so the match commenced a bit late but no overs were cut-off. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. Ireland started quite well but lost 2 wickets in the powerplay still it didn’t affect their batting and scored 55 runs in powerplay. Lorcan Tucker and Harry Tector were the only saviors who made it possible to reach the score of 193 runs.

Delany finished the innings with a cameo of 10 balls 28 runs which was the highlight of the game or else Ireland would end their innings around 160 to 170. The score could be defendable if you bowl well and try to take wickets at the start. Pakistan bowlers were quite impressive and ace bowler Shaheen Afridi scalped 3 wickets and the rest took one wicket each.

Pakistan’s batters chased the target comfortably

The Men in Green in return chased the target comfortably and couple of batters came back in form Mohammed Rizwan scored 75 runs and Fakhar Zaman scored 78 runs their innings took Pakistan a flying start in the run-chase. Azam Khan showed his power hitting scoring 30 runs in just 10 balls. Skipper Babar Azam lost his wicket on zero. Ireland’s bowlers failed to defend the target and Pakistan leveled the series. Mohammed Rizwan was adjourned as Man Of The Match. The third T20I will be the decider match of the series.
