Faf hasn’t been able to dictate the terms in IPL 2024 due to which there has been enormous amount of pressure on Virat Kohli.

RCB is going through a six-match losing streak in the IPL. They are mostly on the wrong side of the results and the franchise is heading towards a downward direction as far as performances on the field are concerned. Faf Du Plessis being at the helm of things has to put on his thinking cap soon if he wants to turn the campaign around for his side.

Once again RCB’s fragile middle order was exposed as Cameron Green hasn’t been able to perform according to his reputation. RCB fans would be wondering how they lost the match even when Will Jacks and Rajat Patidar struck blistering half centuries. RCB needs to go back to the drawing board and quickly find a stable batting line up.

“The small things, I am actually proud of the boys tonight, the way we bowled and fielded, we did give away a couple of big overs towards the end, but I thought we kept them down to a par score,” said Faf du Plessis.

“We thought we’ll go hard in the batting powerplay, find those boundaries at the start of the innings. We were desperate, 10/10 from an effort perspective, the way we put up the effort in the ground, the faces told the story,” he stated.

“We’ve got an unbelievable fanbase, we want to make them happy, we want them to have a smile on their face. We’ll have to continue putting in our efforts and try to change things around,” he added.
