ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 : Naseem Shah Expressed His Disappointment In Missing Out On The Showpiece Event ODI WC 2023

Pakistan team has got some bad news ahead of the World Cup starting from October  5 in India as their star fast bowler Naseem Shah has been ruled out of the mega event. A 20-year-talented fast bowler Naseem Shah sustained the injury during the match against India in the super4 stage of the Asia Cup.

Naseem Shah bowled 9.2 overs during the match against India before being taken off the field. The speedster’s absence is a big miss for Pakistan, given that he is the third-highest wicket-taker for the team in ODIs this year with 22 scalps from 11 outings.

Naseem Shah expressed his disappointment in missing out on the showpiece event; he also requested fans to give their full backing to Babar Azam and Co. Naseem Shah was quite crestfallen after being ruled out of the marquee tournament .

With a heavy heart and full of emotions, I’m sharing that I will not be part of this amazing team that will be representing our beloved country. I would like to thank all of my fans and well-wishers for their unwavering support and prayers,” said Naseem Shah.

While I’m disappointed not to be part of the team, I believe everything is in Allah’s hands, and Inshallah I will be on the field very soon. Let’s unite in support of our beautiful team; they have the potential to make our nation proud. Pakistan Zindabad!,” he added.

Hasan Ali replaced Naseem Shah in the Pakistan ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 squad

Pakistan Cricket Board on Friday announced their senior fast bowler Hasan Ali as the replacement for the injured Naseem Shah for the World Cup. It won’t be wrong to say that Hasan Ali’s presence can bolster Pakistan’s bowling line up, we should not forget that Hasan Ali was the player of the tournament in 2017 Champions Trophy as his experience would be invaluable

They also announced Zaman Khan, Abrar Ahmed, and Mohammad Haris as their reserve players who will also travel with the World Cup squad. The Men in Green would be aiming to lift the elusive ICC Cricket World Cup 2023,
