Brian Lara excludes Rinku Singh, Mohammed Siraj

West Indies legend Brian Lara has picked his probable squad for the Indian team. He excludes explosive hitter Rinku Singh and ace pacer Mohammed Siraj from his squad. He picked Yashasvi Jaiswal as his opener with Rohit Sharma and despite having Rishabh Pant who is the first-choice wicket-keeper option he chose Sanju Samson as his wicket-keeper option.

In the bowling department, he picked Sandeep Sharma who is known for his slower ones and pitches being dry and slow in USA and West Indies he might get a chance to scalp wickets and will help him accordingly. Lara said:

“For me, they are great players (Rohit and Virat), I think though that you should have some youthful punch in the opening spot. One of the younger players, showing their mettle, showing what they are capable of and have one of those experienced players shepherd the innings in the middle order right through till the end. Having that experience up front, it could have a negative effect if they get dismissed early, so I will use one yes, but use the other at No. 3,”

Brian Lara has also picked young pacer Mayank Yadav in his squad being a youngster he will learn more and will get to know the importance of international cricket.
