Pakistan had a horrified World Cup and their team work too wasn’t seen much. They lost to USA in super over and later to India. So their chances were almost over but they ended their campaign on a high note by winning remaining games.
PCB Chairman gives future updates
Pakistan players are currently busy in league cricket but in August they have a test series lined-up with Bangladesh so before that they should hurdle up and practice more. However, past many days many experts and analysts have spoke about Babar’s batting style in T20 cricket he haven’t improved his batting style and so he lacks in this format. And also their were speculations roaming about whether Babar Azam will step down as captain or not? PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi gives updates about future Pakistan Cricket. Mohsin Naqvi spoke about future of Babar Azam’s captaincy and about the ‘Surgery’ too. He said:
“There is, however, no decision taken so far related to Babar Azam,”
” I’m only speaking to those former cricketers who are interested in the betterment of Pakistan cricket,”
” People are asking about surgery but one should not take any decision while you are angry. Hasty decisions can prove to be harmful more often than not”. “Whoever made wrong decisions in the selection committee will also be held accountable.”
” Kirsten has also submitted a detailed report on Pakistan team’s performance in the T20 World Cup.”
Being a Chairman of the committee it’s their responsibility to make sure what is going on in team hurdle and to take detailed updates from the starting of the World Cup. Earlier last month Gary Kirsten had tweeted that their is no team spirit and no one support their opinion, so this kind of behavior is not tolerated by any coach and so it impacts on their mind, Gary Kristen was the winning coach of 2011 World Cup with India. But now he is with Pakistan were scanario is completely different, don’t feel that Gary Kristen will continue more and he may resign soon as Head Coach.
