ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 India will face South Africa in an epic final of the T20 World Cup. India will give their level best to win the trophy and want to break the jinx. India has remained unbeaten in this tournament and so will continue their winning streak and want to lift the trophy. Rohit Sharma is in great form and his current form looks very great, India thrashed England in the semi-final and secured their berth in the final.

Sourav Ganguly feels Rohit Sharma is hungry to win the final

Rohit Sharma tasted India in two ICC finals but remained runners-up in both. This time Rohit Sharma is ready to hit out of the park and will surely win this trophy. Rohit Sharma keeps everything simple and remains calm during important events, he knows how to win big matches so he has done it many times won the IPL 5 times, and won the Asia Cup twice Rohit Sharma is a big match player and so his captaincy is appreciated. Maybe we can see Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli one last time in blue jersey so this will be their last hunt for trophies and should end on a happy note. Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly backs Rohit Sharma and feels that he will do anything to win this trophy and we have seen his hunger in every finals. Sourav Ganguly said:

“I don’t think he can lose two World Cup finals in seven (six) months. He will probably jump into the Barbados ocean if he loses two finals under his captaincy in seven months. He has led from the front and batted brilliantly, and I hope it continues tomorrow,”

“Rohit has the record of winning five IPL titles, which is a huge achievement. Winning an IPL sometimes is more difficult. Don’t misquote me, I’m not saying IPL is better than international cricket. But you have to win 16-17 (12-13) matches to win an IPL; here you need to win 8-9 matches to win a World Cup. The honor is more in winning the World Cup, and I hope Rohit does it tomorrow,”

Since we all know that India won their last trophy in 2013 and that too under MS Dhoni against England, so to break the jinx Rohit Sharma will try Chris and cross to win the trophy. Sourav Ganguly further appreciated the men in blue:

“They have been the best side of the competition. I wish them luck, I wish they win. Hope they have a little bit of luck tomorrow because that is required to win big tournaments. Hope India finishes on the right side, and they should play with freedom,” said Ganguly.

“I look at it differently. At least we are getting to the finals, we can only win once we get to the final. The positive thing is India is not getting eliminated. Secondly, they are dominating. You saw the World Cup in India seven months ago; they were the best side in the competition, although they lost to Australia in the final. They were a better side than Australia right through the tournament; they just had one bad day,” concluded Ganguly.
