Gautam Gambhir lauds Hardik Pandya

India is still unbeaten and every player is in form and contributing equally in all matches, we shouldn’t forget Deputy Hardik Pandya has shown his class with the bat and bowl. After a disastrous season of IPL, his comeback to an Indian jersey is speechless, his fitness and strength with the bat has impressed a lot. From booing in the stadium to support from the bottom of their heart this is what Hardik has earned his special place in the Indian team over the years.

Hardik’s role is quite simple and clear to finish games or set the target and the original Hardik Pandya is back used to hit big sixes, cameo innings, and play fewer balls this is what Hardik Pandya is known for and his form is the biggest asset for Indian team in death overs. Playing at 6 or 7 is not an easy job if you are not Hardik Pandya. Former Indian batter Gautam Gambhir lauds Hardik Pandya for his efficient performance in the T20 World Cup. Gautam Gambhir said:

“Hardik has that ability, capability, and mental strength and is an important member of that Indian team. He has got that X-factor be it as a batter, bowler, or fielder. T20 cricket is such a format that a 10-ball 25 changes everything and everything starts to click. You pick two wickets in two balls and everything is back to normal,”

While praising he also said that Hardik even can handle pressure easily, he won the IPL under his captaincy in 2022, and he is now the deputy of Rohit Sharma, being an all-rounder it’s not easy to balance everything and workload management to pressure the player’s performance, but Hardik Pandya made it easy. Gautam Gambhir said:

“When you’re playing international cricket, there will always be pressure on you, especially if you’re playing a World Cup. Very few players get an opportunity to play a World Cup for their country. The kind of player Hardik is, I have got no doubt (he will come good),”

“Every player in the world has gone through a bad patch. It is just not possible that you always keep performing,”
