India started their run in Chennai against Australia and stun the team in yellow with five wickets, in the second match, men in blue bash Afghanistan. In the third match, India crushed Pakistan very easily.
India will face Bangladesh in their fourth match of the ICC World Cup 2023, which is going to be a tough match because Bangladesh is a very uncertain team. They can trouble any big team on their day. The trend that’s going on, in which small teams are beating big teams, is also going to be a huge factor.
We saw firstly Afghanistan beat world champion England, and last night the Dutch team defeated South Africa by a big margin. So there will be nice content between India and Bangladesh. India will be looking to continue its winning streak.
In MSK Prasad’s recent discussion on the ICC World Cup 2023 about India’s performance, he expressed the clarity in the team:
“They are using horses for courses, and it is working well for India. If you see, they used Ashwin in Chennai and Shardul Thakur for the other two games in Delhi and Ahmedabad. Last game, Shardul was not required as the other bowlers did the job,” said MSK Prasad.
“Shami will come into the frame if they want to rotate Siraj sometimes. Replacements are very clear right now: Surya will replace Shreyas if there is a need, Ishan Kishan will replace Gill at the top, and Shardul will play if it is a flat surface. Aswhin will come to his place if it is a turning deck,” he added.
