The New Zealand cricket team is on a roll after winning 4 matches out of 4 in the ODI WC 2023. According to Aakash Chopra, the Black Caps are looking threatening more than ever as they have got all the bases covered and aren’t reliant on a single individual which makes them a dangerous asset and a team to beat in the competition.

The side is missing the services of Tim Southee & Kane Williamson but still, that hasn’t made their unit look weak. The spin duo of Ish Sodhi & Mitchell Santner have been quite magnificent with the ball in hand as their variations are quite tough to pick for the batters.

It could be an India vs New Zealand final- Aakash Chopra

Aakash Chopra was seen speaking on his You Tube channel. Aakash Chopra made a bold statement that India & New Zealand would clash against each other in the ODI WC 2023 final. Aakash Chopra pointed out that New Zealand don’t have a significant weakness in the side and compared both batting & bowling unit.

“They are an amazing team and I feel it’s not a big deal that it could be an India-New Zealand final. They have won four out of four and the semi-final berth is almost confirmed. It is such a good team that it doesn’t make a difference to them whether Kane (Williamson) is there or not. They figure out a way to win,” said Aakash Chopra.

“Kane wasn’t there and there was a collapse in the middle, Azmatullah Omarzai dismissed two players in an over, but Tom Latham and Glenn Phillips came there. Will Young was there with Rachin Ravindra at the start. Conway also scored a few runs. Once you reach 280-plus, runs are not scored that easily here,” he stated.

“In bowling, Trent Boult with the new ball and Matt Henry with his incoming delivery. Lockie Ferguson is actually breathing fire. The guy bowls amazingly well. He dismisses batters by scaring and threatening them,” he added.
