However, indian right-arm pacer Shardul Thakur, on the other hand, passed a shocking statement in a recent interview where he stated, they both pulled back from the test series as they may be sceptical of their ability to play as before.

During a recent interview, Thakur expressed concern over losing the cricketers of two Indian cricket masters like Virat Kohli and Rohit sharma and the reason behind not being able to play in the playground. He stated,
“They are the most senior figures in the game, but such decisions are personal. It comes when they feel they can’t contribute or drive the format as before. There is a great deal of protection when senior players are around, and having a good mix of senior and junior players in the team provides flourishing results.”
As Kohli and Rohit stumble down against New Zealand in their two test series, one in India and another in Australia. It cost the two run chaser lost the series. India got eliminated from the world test championship final, leading to their exclusion from the Test Ground.
