Yashasvi Jaiswal stood up and performed for India when it mattered the most in his final innings of the series. He scored 118 runs off 164 balls and set the tone, putting a huge target on board for England. This is his 4th overseas century as an Indian opener.

Ravindra Jadeja once again swings his bat in the second innings in this series. He scored a crucial half-century and helped India to cross the lead of 300. He has crossed 500 runs with the bat and picked 7 wickets with the ball so far showing his all-round performance.
He has scored his 6th fifty-plus score in this series by batting at no.6 or below, which is the most by any visiting batter at that batting number in a test series in England. He broke the record of Garry Sobers who had five fifty-plus scores in England at that position in their tour to England back in 1966

This test series has come to a perfect dramatical ending. England are 50/1 at the end of day 3. They need 324 runs to win the series 3-1 and India need 8 more wickets ( Chris Woakes is ruled out and is highly doudtful to comeback and play in the second innings.
We have seen a lot of iconic moments in the second innings of India with Akash deep’s half-century at no.4 as a night watchman and Washington Sundar’s huge sixes and quickfire fifty at the end of the innings.
This is the first match in this series which probably won’t go till the last day. All the four previous test matches went to the last session of the last day.
This match ahs only two results possible right now. Whether India will repeat the Oval 2021, or England will repeat the headingley heroics in the first test.
