Pakistan Cricket team will be without their captain Babar Azam as a skipper for the 3 Test match series. Shan Masood has been named as the Test skipper in place of Babar Azam. Pakistan haven’t been able to dictate the terms in Australia as their last test series in Australia wasn’t a memorable one.

It won’t be wrong to say that these series would be a battle between fast bowlers. Pat Cummins has made it clear that all the players would be available for selection unless there is any injury concern. We can expect an all out attack from Aussie quicks as the likes of Cummins, Hazlewood & Starc would be roaring to make a mark

It has been a massive challenge to play against Babar Azam- Nathan Lyon

Nathan Lyon was having an intereaction with ESPNcricinfo ahead of the Pakistan Test Series. Nathan Lyon was quite excited to play against Babar Azam and Pakistan cricket team. Nathan Lyon also pointed out that Babar Azam played reasonably well in the last series.

“Babar, firstly, has been a pleasure to play against but he’s also been a massive challenge He’s one of the best batters in the world in my eyes, especially against spin. He’s a class player. But think he’s a class player against all types of bowling,” said Nathan Lyon.

“They’ve got some superstars in the side, and if I’m talking superstars he’s the No. 1 in the Pakistan side in my eyes. He played reasonably well out here last time so it’s going to be a big challenge for us for sure,” he stated.

“The hunger level for playing Test matches is probably higher than ever, if I’m being honest. I’m proper excited about it. Love playing in Perth at Optus Stadium. It’s going to be a challenge against Pakistan, so it’s going to be an exciting battle,” he added
