India Tour of Australia will witness an action-packed eight-match series as the Indian team travels Down Under later this year. Cricket Australia (CA) has confirmed the fixtures, promising a thrilling home summer of cricket.
The tour starts with a three-match ODI series on October 19, 23, and 25 in Perth, Adelaide, and Sydney. Following the ODIs, India and Australia will clash in a five-match T20 series, beginning on October 29 in Canberra and continuing across Melbourne, Hobart, Gold Coast, and Brisbane.
India Tour of Australia to Follow after Australia vs South Africa Series
Before India’s arrival, Australia will host South Africa for three T20Is and three ODIs. This series marks the return of Darwin as an international cricket venue after 17 years, with two T20Is set to be played there. The ODI leg will be played in Cairns and Mackay.
Meanwhile, the much-anticipated Ashes series will commence on November 21 in Perth, following a 12-day gap after India’s white-ball tour. This break could allow Australia’s multi-format players to participate in the T20I series, just months before the 2026 T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.
