Australia’s new T20I skipper Mitchell Marsh had a wonderful outing. The swashbuckling right-handed batter smashed an unbeaten 92 runs in 49 runs and struck 13 fours and 2 sixes. Mitchell Marsh looked in beast mode as all the variations were proving to be ineffective and the batter was quite fearless & audacious in his approach

The peculiarity of Mitchell Marsh’s knock was that he didn’t panic even when the mighty Aussies were losing wickets from the end. Aussies posted a mammoth total of 226-6 and easily defended the target and won the contest by a whooping margin of 111 runs which is quite massive in modern cricket.

Mitchell Marsh an Asset

Mitchell Marsh came into bat at No.3 position after the early departure of Travis Head. Mitchell Marsh was seen taking calculative risks and made the most of the crease. The rare failure of Marcus Stoinis also didn’t stop Mitchell Marsh from dictating the terms. He along with Tim David tormented South Africa’s bowling line up and it seemed as if there was book cricket on display.

Complete Domination by Aussies

Aussies announced their arrival in a grand fashion. We should not forget that Mitchell Marsh applied attacking tactics and made life harder for the batters. The star spinner Adam Zampa was sidelined just before the start of the match but Marsh didn’t panic as he marshaled his troops smartly.

The next T20I match is on 1st September at Durban as we can’t rule out another run fest as both the teams have got long & threatening batting line up. South African bowlers perhaps needs to apply defensive tactics against Mitchell Marsh as the batter doesn’t have a significant weakness in his gameplan.
