PAK vs BAN: Pakistan’s Bowlers Dismantle Bangladesh For An Easy Win

Early in the day, the game was set up by the fast bowlers as the Bangladesh innings lasted only for  38.4 overs the whole game ended inside 79 overs as Pakistan chased the target of 194 inside 40 overs. Pakistan‘s batters seemed in complete control of the run chase as the batters weren’t troubled by the bowling unit.

Bangladesh had the worst start with the bat as the hero of the last game Mehidy Hassan Miraz went for a golden duck off the bowling of Naseem Shah leaving Bangladesh 0 for 1 in 1.1 over.

Bangladesh batsman was not able to withstand the Pakistan opening pace attack trio of Harris Rauf, Afridi, and Naseem Shaw as they lost their top order inside the power play and scored just 49 runs for the loss off 4wickets in the form of Liton Das who is caught behind off Afridi, Naim was caught and bowled by Harris Rauf, and Hridoy was cleaned up by him.

SHAKIB AL HASAN AND MUSHFIQUR RAHIM CENTURY STAND

The ever reliable experienced duo of Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim rescued Bangladesh once again as the pair became one of the pairs in history for the most 100 runs partnership for the 5th wicket.

The pair played some wonderful shorts and did some smart batting by seeing through the tough period initially and now are taking the bowling on.

Smart capacity from Babar Azam used his resources brilliantly today. He has used fast bowlers in smaller bursts in this simmering heat which has worked out for them well .

After playing a  timely knock when his side needed the most Shakib-al-Hasan got dismissed for 53 an excellent knock under pressure. He tried to pull a short ball of Faheem which looked for a while like it was going all the way but Fakhar Zaman on the boundary took a good catch.

PAKISTAN BOWLERS ALL OVER BANGLADESH

Pakistan bowling unit dismantled the Bangladesh batting unit as they got bundled out for 193 inside 39 overs as all the fast bowlers along with Iftikhar Ahmed who took the wickets of  Shamim Hossain picked up wickets for Pakistan.

Haris Rauf the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 4  for 19 in 6 overs.  He came back to his second spell and continued his attacking spell by picking two wickets in successive deliveries first he removed well-set Mushfiqur played an ugly swipe down the leg-side and got an edge Mushfiqur would be very much disappointed with the shot he played.

Taskin Ahmed played a nothing shot and got an edge over to keeper Rizwan. Naseem Shah took the final wicket by dismissing Islam clean bowled.

DISCIPLINED BOWLING FROM BANGLADESH

We have an interruption here as one of the floodlights has gone off and players have walked off the field. The Bangladesh bowlers have bowled well so far but nothing to show for that in the wickets column.

IMAM AND RIZWAN TAKE PAKISTAN HOME

Imam and Rizwan just did some  sensible batting and put the pressure back on Bangladeshi bowlers as they put on a vital partnership of 87 runs  Imam-ul-Haq departed for 78 he was clean bowled by Mehidy Hassan Miraz

Rizwan got to the well-deserved half-century as he remained not out on 63 off 79 with 7 fours and one six and finished the game alongside Agha Salman who hit the winning runs for Pakistan
