Later after 7 years, the film was renewed into its new franchise with Student of the Year 2. The film featured the launch of Ananya Pandey, and Tara Sutaria along with starlight Tiger Shroff.
Shanaya Kapoor debuting in Karan Johar Student of the Year 3
This time Student of the Year movie will be turned into a web series in partnership with Disney+ Dharma will continue their legacy of introducing star kids with the launch of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor.
Although her acting debut was announced with an epic entertainer Mohanlal, SOTY will be her OTT debut. Karan Johar has confirmed the details recently.
Shanaya Kapoor’s wait for Bollywood launch will be over soon
Shanaya has been working on her Bollywood debut for the past 2 years which was initially decided to make Karan Johar’s love triangle story Bedhadak along with Lakshya Lalwani. Now because of the shelved-up script, she has a change in plan.
The attractive actress will however start her career with Vrushabha of Mohanlal. She had decided her part in the industry carefully.
Karan Johar was cautious to define her initial project
Her long and beautiful dream of entering Bollywood was carefully planned with Karan Johar as he dotingly chose her first project to present her efficiently in front of the audience. He has ensured that she is well prepared for her initial projects, especially her debut project.
There is speculation of some new and fresh-face introduction in SOTY3 along with Shanaya Kapoor. The casting process is in its development phase in will soon be completed. This will be the second film franchise to move into OTT for its expansion after Vidyut Jammwal’s Commando.
