This IPL 2024, Shubman Gill, the captain of the Gujarat Titans (GT), is having a dramatic season. The journey has been filled with ups and downs, as the Gujarat Titans (GT) and Shubman Gill gradually built a strong reputation as winners and runners-up in the last two seasons. It isn’t easy to maintain these things as a young team, and he is only in his third season, but he still emerges as a positive role model and leads the team with a great presence.

GT has had a very average performance this year till now, playing around 9 games and managing to win only four. The management, who had quite an impressive journey with the duo of Hardik Pandya and Ashish Nehra in the previous 2 editions, is quite missing. As a youthful captain this season, Shubman Gill must rethink his approach and employ some fresh strategies to guide the Gujarat Titans (GT) past the qualifying round.

He also felt the same way about his captaincy, believing that he still needed to work on it. He also thought that, as a player and captain, he believed in himself and that the team was in very balanced shape. Shubman Gill, the player, also played about nine games and scored two fifty runs in the majority of them. Although he was unable to convert most of his early runs into large scores, he still managed to score more than 300 runs this season.

Shubman Gill Reflects on His Selection and Leadership.

In an interview with News 18, Shubman Gill replied about his previous experience and that he loves his batting, and as a captain, it somehow helped my personality grow over 6 to 8 months. He stated that, as the captain of a site like this, you need to have a proper will and charter so that you can enjoy your play at the selected part with ease. He stated in the selection part of the upcoming T20 World Cup that it is not difficult to be in the race of selection; all you need to focus on is scoring runs and winning games, and the rest will be taken care of by people.

“Yeah, definitely. It’s been very interesting these past 6 to 8 months. But I think it’s definitely helped me shape my personality and my character as a player. Because you know it requires a certain will and character to be able to, you know, overcome those and keep doing and keep enjoying the things that you want to do,” said Shubman Gill

“Honestly, it’s not that difficult. You keep scoring, you keep winning. Everything will take care of itself,” he further stated by him
