Mayank Yadav, the newest prodigy in Indian fast bowling, is anticipated to be included in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s home IPL encounter between the Lucknow Super Giants and the Mumbai Indians. Morne Morkel speaking in a pre-match press conference in Lucknow mentioned that Mayank Yadav who was out with injury is all set to make his comeback against Mumbai Indians on 30th April 2024.
“Mayank is fit and he has passed all his fitness tests and (we’re) excited (to) have him back playing potential 12 tomorrow,” said Morkel.
Mayank has so far taken six wickets in three games. He will be an important for Lucknow Super Giants going into the business end of the Indian Premier League. Mayank Yadav has been Captain KL Rahul’s go to bowler in the powerplay and middle overs where they want to stop the flow of runs of the batting team.
Lucknow Super Giants are going to take on Mumbai Indians at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow today. It will interesting to see how Mayank Yadav bowls and what speed after his injury niggle.
